My Approach

My approach is rooted in the belief that the body is a self-healing unit. Through understanding the intricate connections within your body and addressing root causes, I aim to restore balance, improve function, and help you live pain-free.

"What makes my work so enjoyable is seeing patients' health change so quickly. Worrying, living in fear of pain, wondering if you'll ever be right again... all of these take a toll. Watching you regain your bright, optimistic outlook is a privilege for me."

My patients enjoy long-term relationships with me, safe in the knowledge that I understand them, and how they can recover from whatever life throws their way.

Gentle, Caring Treatment

  • My treatments don't involve clicking, crunching or pain - I promise I will not hurt you
  • My treatments work with your body, not against it
  • There's no need to undress for a treatment - simply wear comfortable, flexible clothing
"Pain free people are happier people!"

Fees & Session Times

I offer flexible treatments to suit your clinical needs, time availability and budget. Generally, acute conditions require more frequent, shorter visits. Chronic issues require longer, less frequent visits.

Your First Visit: Here’s what to expect…

Adults

Timing: 60 minutes

Process: Dialogue & Initial Treatment

Dialogue:

I’ll ask about your present condition, its onset, how it's affecting your life, and your overall medical picture. Your answers will give me a good understanding of the problem. Please, ask as many questions as you wish. It’s important for you to understand what’s happening too.

Initial Treatment:

You’ll find a comfortable position on my treatment couch and I’ll gently touch your body. If appropriate, I may recommend you for additional tests. Treatment options and likely outcome will be discussed and if you agree, treatment can begin. At the end of the session, I’ll lead you through a “before and after’ comparison to give us both a sense of potential outcomes. Your follow up will be booked within the next week, or within three to five days for acute cases. You’ll leave considerably easier in body and mind, knowing you are receiving expert care.

Babies & Children (to 15 years)

Timing: 60 minutes

Process: Dialogue & Initial Treatment

Pre-Appointment Questionnaire:

Before we meet, you’ll answer my questions about pregnancy, birth, post natal feeding, growth, development and email them to me.

Dialogue:

We’ll discuss your child’s possible issues and how I can help. If you’re bringing your child for behavioural issues or anxiety, we can have this dialogue before I meet them so they are as relaxed as possible.

Initial Treatment:

Great care is taken to ensure you and your child are comfortable. Most babies are treated in the arms of their parents. Older children can read or watch their favourite program on your lap. Teenagers use the treatment couch. Most children love my calming treatments. At any point, you can ask questions about what I’m doing.

Maintenance

If your lifestyle activities are maintaining the issues you sought my help to heal, ongoing maintenance sessions can be helpful. Many patients enjoy the comfort of regular checks and treatments. This is something I am happy to discuss with you, so please ask.

  • Get back to enjoying life with family, friends and work colleagues

Do You Offer Osteopathic Services Virtually?

Yes. Certain osteopathic services can be offered virtually, particularly consultations, assessments, and guidance on self-care exercises and lifestyle changes, which can be very effective for many musculo- skeletal issues. Complex conditions requiring hands-on treatment will necessitate in-person visits.

If I Want to Visit for an In-Person Treatment, Where Are You Located?

I am near Lechlade, Chipping Norton, Camden and Gloucester, Witney and Oxfordshire. Patients travel from all over Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire for my specialist cranial therapy. They come from as far as Swindon, Stroud, Cheltenham, Oxford, Cirencester and Gloucester.
